ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE VACANT POST OF COORDINATOR FOR TRAINING
SUPPORT – GRENADA NATIONAL TRAINING AGENCY
The National Training Agency is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the
post of Coordinator for Training Support.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the coordinator provides overall coordination for
effective training programmes that lead to certification and employment of the learners.
Responsibilities include:
a.
Establishment and Coordination the Enterprise, Community and Institution Based Training
Programmes
b.
Coordinates the Assessment of Prior Learning Programme
c.
Coordination of all research activities
d.
Coordinates activities relating to career development
e.
Coordinates the development and execution of training schemes.
f.
Prepares the annual budget and operational plan for the Training Support Department, monitors
implementation and makes/recommends adjustments where necessary to achieve desired results.
g.
Develops and oversees the implementation of operational policies and procedures to guide the
administrative operations of the Training Support Department.
h.
Develops and implements systems to effectively manage client’s complaints and
measure customer satisfaction re the Training and Certification System.
i.
Organizes calls for proposals for service, oversees the selection of proposals for work of
contractors.
j.
Coordinates closely with Training Providers of training programmes to ensure timely
implementation of recruiting learners, providing training programmes and collection of learner
data.
k.
Provides leadership in the development and implementation of communication strategies to
rebrand TVET and to promote the work of the NTA with specific emphasis on the promotion of
CVQ/NVQ certification through various modalities including the Assessment of Prior Learning
programme.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in relevant social science with emphasis on Management, Business
Administration or Marketing.

Specialized training in TVET management and administration would be an asset.

Experience in the field of Marketing or Communication will be an asset

Experience in use of MIS systems would be an asset

At least (5) years experience at a senior level.
