R.I.DISTRICT 3202 ROTARY DISTRICT AWARDS CRITERIA 2014-15 GROUPING OF CLUBS The clubs in RI District will be grouped into three as on 1st July 2014 based on membership. Group I 25 to 35 Members Group II 36 to 50 Members Group III 51 and above Members Period: July 1st 2014 to 15th May 2015 ELIGIBILITY FOR DG’S CITATION: 1. Mandatory compliance should be adhered to . 2. Minimum of 400 points to be obtained under each category( 1 to 8 ) CATEGORIES: 1. R.I.Priorities 2. District Priorities 3. Club Service 4. Mandatory Compliance CATEGORY 1 R.I.PRIORITIES Project done on the designated month : 200 points per project Any other months : 100 points per project CATEGORY 2 All District Priorities DISTRICT PRIORITIES : 300 points Minimum 6 District Priorities : 200 points Minimum 4 District Priorities : 100 points CATEGORY 3 CLUB SERVICE Club achieving a minimum net increase of 15% membership Growth and 90% retention Every additional net gain : 300 points : 20 points Club admitting at least one lady member : 150 points Club admitting spouse as member : 50 points/spouse member Club sponsoring one new club : 400 points / new club Club organizing zone /District Events District Event : 300 points/Event Zone Event :100 points/Event Inter District Events : 200 points/Event Inter Zone Event : 150 points International District Event : 400 points Club Bulletin Monthly : 300 points Quarterly : 150 points E-Bulletin : 100 points Hosting and Updating the Club Web site : 200 points Up Dating Rotary District Web site :100 points Up Dating Club details in Rotary Central Web site : 150 points Clubs having at least 4 family dinner meetings in a Rotary year : 100 points Additional family meetings :25 points each Club’s Fund Raising Programs : 100 points Support to District Club History Book (Minimum Rs.50,000.00 ) : 300 points Any Other Projects Under Club Service : 100 points CATEGORY 4 : VOCATIONAL SERVICE Promotion of the “Four Way Test “ : 50 points Vocational Excellence Awards to Individuals/Business organization : 50 points Sending Nomination to District Vocational Excellence Awards : 100 points On selection for the District Award : 150 points All other Vocational Projects : 50 points/ projec t CATEGORY 5 (Activities not included in other Categories) : COMMUNITY SERVICE Individual Project by each member in the club : 300 points Every project : 50 points /Project Forming a new R.C.C : 100 points YOUTH SERVICE (NEW GENERATION) 1. Conduct a RYLA : 100 points 2. Sponsor a student for RYLA Regional RYLA : 50 points District RYLA : 100 points International RYLA : 200 points 3. Starting New Interact/ Rotaract Clubs : 150 points 4. Inducing Existing Rotaract/Interact to do new projects : 50 points 5. Career Guidance Program : 100 points 6. All other Projects : 50 points each 7.Youth Festival (School/College) : 300 points (by involving Interact /Rotaract) ROTARY FOUNDATION 1. Support The Rotary Foundation ( Min $ 1000/-) : 250 points Every Additional $1000/- Subject to a maximum of 1000 points overall : 100 points 2. Polio Fund ( Min $500/- ) : 100 points 3. Major Donor contribution : 300 points Every Additional $100/- Subject to a maximum of 1000 points overall : 50 points 3. Clubs achieving the following 100% members of the club contributing 90% members of the club contributing 75% members of the club contributing : 500 points : 400 points : 250 points 4. Any contribution to permanent fund, Benefactor, Bequest etc : 250 points 5. Endowment Fund : 500 points INTERNATIONAL SERVICE 1. Sending a VTT candidate for interview Selection of candidate : 50 points : 200 bonus points 2. Host VTT/FE/YE members or any other International guest on Rotary assignment : 150 points each 3. Approved Global Grant Project (in progress) : 500 points 4. Support to Polio : 100 points each NID 5. Sending YE student : 400 points 6. Member of FE out bound team : 300 points 7. Attending International Convention : 250 points Every additional member (Subject to a maximum of 1000 points overall) :100 points each 8. Inviting foreigners on World Understanding & Peace month : 100 points 9. Any other Projects : 50 points each MANDATORY COMPLIANCES 1. SAR/District Dues/Rotary News Before July 31st and Jan 31st : 150 points each August 31st and Feb 28th : 75 points each 2.Monthly Reporting Before the 5th of the following month : 25 points each month Between 6th and 15th : 10 points each month 3. Monthly attendance Reporting Before 5th of the following month : 10 points each month Between 6th and 10th : 5 points each 4. Effective planning Guide Submit by July 31st : 300 points By August 15th : 100 points 6. Contributions to Foundation 7. Contribution to Polio Fund GENERAL COMPLIANCES 1. Participation in District Assembly and Conferences per Member : 10 points 100 % participation bonus for District Assembly ( min 10 club officers) : 250 points 50% participation : 100 points 100 % participation bonus for District Conference ( Rotarians +Annes =Total Rotarians on Rolls as on 1st Jan 2015 SAR) : 250 points 50% participation : 100 points 2.Participation in District Programmes Per Member : 30 points 100% participation : 250 points 50% participation : 100 points 4. Participation Zonal Programmes Min of 5 members : 20 points each 100% participation : 250 points 50% participation : 100 points 5. Attending PETS Both President Elect and Secretary Elect : 450 points Any one of the above : 200 points 6. Submitting application R.I.Presidential citation Before March 31st 2015 :150 points AWARDS (BASED ON ABOVE ASSESSMENTS ) 1. Top Two Clubs in each Group 2. Top Two Presidents and Secretaries in each group 3. Five Star Clubs in each Group SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS: 1. Hosting of District /Zonal Events 2. Chairman of District /Zonal Events 3. Special Projects OTHER AWARDS District Level DZS : Top Two AG : Top Two DZT : Top Two GPC : Top Four District Committee Chairs : Top Two District Zone Chairs : Top Four Note: While reporting the activities of July in August, please report all the events of 2014-15 like AGTS.
