Board of Trustees Report: Regular Meeting October 14, 2014 UPDATE 99 and DGBA (LOCAL) APPROVED Board members approved TASB Update 99 to AISD Board Policy. The local policies affected by the update are BDD(LOCAL); BP(LOCAL); CFEA(LOCAL); CK(LOCAL); DAC(LOCAL); EHDC(LOCAL; EIF(LOCAL); FFF(LOCAL); FFH(LOCAL. The legal policies that are present reflect the ever-changing legal context for governance and management of the district. CONSESSION STAND AND ALTERNATES The board approved the use of competitive sealed proposals as the method of delivery for the proposed concession stand construction and associated alternates that include HVAC/ ventilation in the AHS vocational building, new electrical service at AHS, and a storage building at Devonian. ANDREWS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT The Board nominated Jackie Gillespie to the Andrews County Appraisal District Board of Directors with the said term to expire on December 31, 2015. The next regular meeting of the board of trustees will be Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 6:30 P.M in the AISD Administration Building.
