Penwortham Lawn Tennis Club Newsletter Welcome to the start of the 2014 tennis season which runs from 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2015. Social play Club nights are every Wednesday and Sunday evening, from 6.30pm onwards. The first club night of the new season will be on Wednesday 2nd April. Pay and Play Social play on a Monday afternoon, for both members and non-members, is from 1.30pm onwards and includes complimentary tea and biscuits. There is a £5 charge for non-members. The first pay and play session of the new season will be on Monday 7th April. Coaching We are again pleased to announce that Lincoln Banister is to be our club coach for this season. Lincoln is able to offer individual coaching to members as well as running the group sessions below: •Rusty Rackets for adults - Wednesday at 6pm. Starts Wednesday 7th May. •Junior coaching - Friday at 4.30 for beginners and 5.30 to 7.30 for advanced. Ongoing. •Mini coaching (aged 10 and under)– Wednesday at 4pm. Starts Wednesday 7th May. Team Tennis Penwortham runs teams for adults and juniors and the team captains are always looking for new players. This includes the cost of only £10 per child when joining with an adult member. Attached is a membership application form that will enable you to play tennis for twelve months from the 1st April 2014. Please note that payment must be received before the 5th May to ensure eligibility for Fylde league play.
