solutions in today’s business environment. The automation of the ordering and
payment processes can help players reduce their reliance on manpower and allow
them to redeploy their employees to higher value-adding functions such as providing
better customer service.
SPRING Singapore has worked with several vendors to come up with a standard
self-service kiosk solution that can be easily deployed to outlets. Adopting a selfservice concept, particularly the kiosk solution, will help to alleviate manpower and
hiring challenges.

1. How much does a standard kiosk costs? What kind of support will be given

The average cost for the standard self-service kiosk is S$30,000. Interested Food
Services (FS) companies are eligible for funding under SPRING’s Capability
Development Grant, with support up to 70% of qualifying costs.
2. Who should take up this initiative?
FS companies that are keen to alleviate hiring challenges through the self-service
concept must meet the following criteria:
