MPC/MCFC SUMMER SOCCER CAMP Monterey Peninsula College Football/Soccer Stadium July 14 – July 18 (9 am –noon) Cost: $115 per player (MCFC players and sibling discounted price =$105 per player) (park at MPC athletics parking lot off Fishnet Road, Monterey) Monterey County Futbol Club is hosting a soccer camp in association with MPC coaching staff. The camp consists of different levels determined by age and experience. The staff has decades of experience and promote a fun environment to build soccer skills. Academy-style skill building, obstacle courses, small sided games, competitions and tournaments fill the week’s camp curriculum. Competitive teams are encouraged to register as a team to obtain a team discount for 8 or more players attending camp. They will learn basic ball dribbling, passing, scoring and coordination skills while playing small sided games and activities (note that players will be rouped by ability as well as by age). Level II – Small Sided Camp are campers 8-11 years old. Introduces basic tactics for small sided soccer Level III – Intermediate Camp are campers with 5+ experience or have completed Level II developing group activities Level IV – Advanced Camp are campers who are competing in 11 v 11 games or have completed Level III Level V - Private/Group training.
