ALL SOUL’S DAY:
That we give generously without expecting anything in
return. “Those who trust in him will understand truth,
and the faithful will abide with him in love, because
grace and mercy are upon his elect, and he watches
over his holy ones.” – Wisdom of Solomon 3:9. Here’s
the ironic thing about people who are generous. Those
that give freely and cheerfully do not do it to be rewarded. They do it to show their love for God and their
neighbors. Yet, because of their generosity, they typically are given more than they gave away!
Let us pray for the sick:
Maria Cano, George & Marianne Thomas,

Chavez, Nell Ramsey, Guadalupe Rios,
Alan Bertrand, Raymon Esparza, Richard
Melchor, Ernest Recio, Joe Talamantez,
Julia Herrera, Donna Townes, Maria Guerrero, Billie
Bowman, Laura St.Cyr, Mary Ortega, Alonso González.
Let us pray for all the souls . . .

parenting is great and you know you are doing a good

Like when your toddler won’t eat dinner, your six
year old won’t pick up his toys, or maybe when your
teenager is disrespectful. If only someone could give
you some ideas to make those times easier! If this
sounds like you, then all these Triple P seminars may
suit! The basic level 2, Seminar # 1 (The Power of
Positive Parenting) of Triple P will be held at St.
Dominic Archdiocesan Center – Morkovsky Hall,
2403 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, 77584 from 6:30
p.m. to 9 p.m. on November 7. To register please call

Dominic– Morkovsky Hall, 2403 Holcombe Blvd.,

A Message from Fr. Brendan
Brothers and Sisters,
Last Sunday I read from a letter from the Missionaries of Charity about a request for prayers. I’d
like to share this letter with you, and ask for prayers
and sacrifices for the protection of these heroic Sisters. God is good, and always faithful!
MESSAGE:
“Sr. Mary Marta MC from our Bronx House,
was so gracious to give me an account of what is
happening to our MC Sisters in the Middle East. The
Sisters are in tremendous danger. And their love for
Jesus in the Poorest of the Poor is an unwavering, heroic love. An Army of Gaza soldiers have told them a
number of times to evacuate, and they will not leave
their Poor. Within their communities, there are also
28 mentally handicapped children with them, some
having seizures whenever they hear the bombs blast.
Sr. Mary Marta said that it has been the prayers of so
many souls, that have helped save them from ham. Sr.
Mary Marta said that instead of donating money,
which for now, would endanger their safe location,
that we should instead offer as many prayers, and sacrifices as we can, for them. Here is an example of the
fruit of that intercession: A Priest urgently warned our
Sisters that the extremists were on their way to attack
them. The Sisters began to pray, and The Priest was
also praying to St. George. When the extremists finally approached, they were not able to do what they
were intending. They could not find them. Many
white horses appeared, and frightened the extremists.
Glory be to God! Thanks be to Our Lord and to our
Lady, they were not harmed. I told Sr. Marta, that we
will be offering our three masses during our LMC
USA Northeast Regional Retreat, for our MC Sisters
and for our Poorest of the Poor in the Middle East.”
God bless you all, thanks for your wonderful
faith and persistence in prayer,
Fr. Brendan

Mensaje del Padre Brendan
Hermanos y Hermanas,
He aquí
orando a San Jorge.
No podían encontrarlos. Muchos caballos blancos aparecieron, y asustaron a los extremistas.
¡Gloria a Dios!
Padre Brendan
