Pachappa Elementary School October 21, 2014 “Say Boo To Drugs” We have had such a great time the last few years that in support of Red Ribbon Week, we will continue to allow students to dress up from 1:40 to 2:35 on Friday, October 31st. We are asking that students bring their costumes in their backpacks. Costumes should be able to be worn over the clothes and NO face paint or masks of any kind. In addition, do not allow your children to bring any toy accessories especially toy weapons. At 1:35, students will be allowed to put their costumes on over their clothes. Students will not be allowed to go to the bathrooms to change. At 1:35, students may participate in a school wide parade on the playground. Individual classroom celebrations will follow. It is our continued hope that we will be able to provide an orderly learning environment in the morning and a pleasant celebration activity for the afternoon. Thank you for your support of our students and your help in ensuring that our “Say Boo To Drugs” Red Ribbon Week activity is a pleasant event for all. Students who may not participate due to religious reasons will be allowed to watch a video in the library. Vivian Lee, Principal Escuela Primaria Pachappa 21 de octubre, 2014 “Di Boo A las Drogas” Hemos pasado un tiempo tan divertido durante los años anteriores, que en apoyo de la Semana de la Cinta Roja, continuaremos permitiendo a los estudiantes disfrazarse, entre 1:40pm – 2:35pm. el viernes, 31 de octubre. Estamos pidiendo que los estudiantes traigan sus disfraces en sus mochilas. Los disfraces deben poderse usar por encima de la ropa y SIN pintura en la cara o máscaras de ningún tipo. Además, no permitan que sus hijos/as traigan ningún accesorio de juguete, especialmente en forma de armas de juguete. A la 1:35pm los alumnos podrán ponerse sus disfraces sobre su ropa. Los alumnos no podrán ir a los baños para cambiarse. A la 1:35pm los estudiantes podrán participar en un desfile general, en el patio de recreo. Luego, seguirán las celebraciones individuales de cada aula. Nosotros esperamos poder seguir teniendo un ambiente de aprendizaje ordenado por la mañana, y una actividad de celebración placentera por la tarde.
