Currently, he is a Customs Consultant and Lecturer for CILT programmes and other logistics institutions. He joined Royal Malaysian Customs in 1973 as a superintendant and worked at various divisions of the Department and held various positions. During the tenure of Service, he acquired experiences from the following Divisions: Customs Division (Import & Export) Internal Tax Division (Sales Tax, Service Tax & Excise Duties) Preventive Division (State preventive & Special Squad HQ) Customs Computer Division.
