Goods and Service Tax (GST) will be implemented

Goods and Service Tax (GST) will be implemented by 1st April
2015 to replace the current sales tax and service tax. The
introduction of GST is one of the Government’s tax reform
programs to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the
existing taxation system.
Why GST and how the GST will to be implemented?
The two-day program will provide participants with a
comprehensive understanding of the GST, its scope, its
implementation, its compliance and enforcement, and its
procedures and requirements.

Trainer’s Profile
Perumal Munusamy PMP,AMN,PJK. B.Econs, LL.B, CMILT (UK), Dip.System
Analysis, is a retired Deputy State Director of Customs, Selangor.
Currently, he is a Customs Consultant and Lecturer for CILT programmes
and other logistics institutions. He joined Royal Malaysian Customs in
1973 as a superintendant and worked at various divisions of the
Department and held various positions. During the tenure of Service, he
acquired experiences from the following Divisions:
Customs Division (Import & Export)
Internal Tax Division (Sales Tax, Service Tax & Excise Duties)
Preventive Division (State preventive & Special Squad HQ)
Customs Computer Division.
Perumal worked at various places such as Subang Airport, Johore
Customs, Ipoh Inland Station, Customs HQ and Port Klang Customs. At
Port Klang he headed the Import, Free Zone Division and Internal Tax
division and then finally retired as Deputy State Director of Customs,
Selangor.
He had attended several seminars, courses and workshops pertaining
to Customs matters at Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan,
Korea, Brussels, Switzerland, England and also at Canada. He was also
responsible for the successful implementation of Customs Information
System (SMK), Electronic Excise System and the Land Bridge Concept at
Port Klang, Malaysia. While in service and after retirement he has been
invited as a guest speaker and presented papers in various seminars

Cancellation / Transfer / Refund

- 7 working days before the event, full refund of registration fee will be made.
- Less than 7 working days before the event are subject to administrative fee of 25% of the full registration fee.
You may substitute an alternate participant(s) or transfer to another event with 7 working days’ notice. Any difference in fees will be
charged accordingly.
Confirmed registrant who failed to attend on the day of event and did not cancel his registration in writing is liable for the entire fee.
In the event of cancellation by Arrow Training, all fees will be refunded in full, or the participant may reschedule to the next available
