Application
District cooling (DC)
District cooling is centralised production and distribution of cooling
energy from the cooling plant to the
air conditioning system of industrial,
commercial or residential buildings.
The Termix VX-C Comp. 28 offers a
hydraulic break in the cooling system
ahead of the air handling units (AHU)
or fancoil units (FCU) in the apartments. The Termix VX-C Comp. 28 is a
complete solution with optimal safety, efficient energy transfer, servicefriendly construction and a compact
design. The Termix VX-C Comp. 28
substation is ideal, when a high level
of security against burst pipes and
water damage in the cooling system
is required.
The substation is prefabricated with a
flow controller with integrated control
valve, fitting piece and sensor pockets
for insertion of an energy meter as well
as strainers.

The apartment cooling circuit consists of a stainless steel plate heat exchanger, safety valve, pressure gauge,
thermometers, drain valve, air valve,
ball valves and circulation pump. The
temperature of the cooling circuit is
controlled by an electronic temperature controller. The electronic controller offers a very accurate setting
of the flow temperature to the AHU
or FCU.
Construction
All pipes are made of stainless steel. The
connections are made by nuts and gaskets. Condensation insulation is not part
of the delivery of the Termix VX-C Comp.
