CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON: Our Christmas luncheon at Michael's was so special with Santa Claus but alas there were no little munchkins in attendance. Oh, well, the adults enjoyed seeing him and getting the candy canes he passed out. Our special guest Maria Pignati (immediate state past president) was also in attendance and sang the beautiful Christmas carol "Oh Holy Night". She truly has a beautiful voice. We were also happy to see Jo Chidichimo, Paula's mother and she is a young 99 years old. She is a beautiful lady and still sharp as a tack. We also would like to thank Roldan Vigil for his music on his magical saxophone. SUNSHINE NEWS: Well, it is not so sunshiny for some people. Aldo Ausano was recently in the hospital for surgery. JANUARY MEETING: On January 14, we will have the second nomination and election of officers and we request all members to attend at 5:30 to 6:00 to finish this business. Then at 6;30 we will have a dinner of chili con came, lentil soup, Italian wedding soup, combread, regular bread, salad, dessert and wine and coffee. Paula Chidichimo is in charge of this dinner.
