LOOM News...
If you don’t now what the Queen of Hearts Drawing is all about,
ask your bartender or the Lodge Administrator for details.
Join us for BAR BINGO on Monday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. for a
lot of fun!
Message from the Governor
As I start my last three months as your Governor, I look back and see what the board has changed. We started bar bingo,
queen of hearts, eliminated smoking in both back rooms, and have drink specials listed at the bar. I feel the biggest
accomplishment yet is getting a new walk- n freezer for the kitchen and taking out 9 freezers to make room for the front
office to be moved to the back to make more room for the social quarters.
I want to thank all the volunteers that stepped up and helped out throughout the year. Please continue to support your
lodge. As everybody knows it’s hard to get volunteers. Looking ahead I would like to see more volunteers and new
members of all ages come and join our lodge. I also want to see more new bar stools and all the chairs replaced or redone.
As I close I want to thank all of you that support your lodge and supported me as your Governor. In my last 2 years as your
Governor, I have made a lot of friends and most of all a huge Moose family. Thanks again.
George Coy, Governor
Read all about it…. Good News for Dues
In an effort to recruit more members, Glendale Lodge
will waive the $20 application fee for new members until the end of April 2015. Current members can renew
their dues at the reduced rate of $75 for two years until the end of April 2015. This is true even if your current
dues expire after April 2015. The only stipulation is that the member must come into the lodge to pay his dues
directly to the Administrator, or in his absence, the bartender on duty (who can accept the renewal payment).

Message from your Chapter’s Senior Regent ...
WOW a New Year already, with tons of fun things planned for everyone to have lots of fun. However, we did not end the year in a
shabby way. The lodge’s New Year’s Eve party was a great success and a lot of fun for those of us that attended the gala affair.
The forty children who attended the Christmas party had a great time, and totally loved Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. We thank them for
taking the time to spend with our children. We all appreciated your love for the little ones.
Please see the calendars in this newsletter and on our web-site for the all the WOTM upcoming events.
Mid-Year Conference in New Mexico. Five of our co-workers are eligible to become new members of the Circle of Friendship,
provided they attend the New Mexico conference. They are: Patty Keepin, Marilyn Buck, Nikki Aaronson, Janyce Fagen and
Margaret Griswold. The conference is a wonderful time to meet other members of our Moose Fraternity and make new friends.
Election of new Board of Officers. Be sure to step up to the plate, we really do need your input and help, help, help, help!!!!!!! If you
are not interested in becoming a Board Officer, please volunteer to head up a committee. It is fun and a great way to make new friends.
We usually meet the first and third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm. If you are a new member, please come and join your fraternal
sisters. We would love to meet you. After our first Wednesday meeting, we usually have yummy food and door prizes. After our second
meeting, we typically have desserts. We’d love for you to join us.
Okay folks, I know you hear this a lot, but WE ALL NEED TO GET NEW MEMBERS. Do your neighbors or friends know about the
Moose Lodge... how we support the children at Mooseheart and our seniors at Moosehaven? We need many hands to continue the
wonderful work that is done by every chapter of the Moose. Please remember, if you would have this person in your home for tea, they
would be a wonderful Moose member. Our Board of Officers has extended the removal of the $20.00 application fee to extend to the end
of April 2015, to help us with obtaining new members.
Thank you very much for allowing me to serve you as your interim Senior Regent for the last few months.
Fraternally yours,
Carole Coppersmith
