Join us for a weekend of song and celebration; of spiritual uplift and warmth of community, as we pay tribute to CRJ’s
past, delight in its present, and ensure its enduring future. Cantor Lisa Levine, a nationally known cantor and composer,
will join us as artist-in-residence at these exciting events:
Jospel: The Jewish Gospel Experience- an Uplifting Erev
Shabbat Service
The word “Jospel” is the combination of the Jewish and Gospel styles of music. Over the
past 18 years, Lisa’s work with Interfaith, African American and Jewish choirs of all ages
has inspired her to write music which melds these styles for use in the community, Christian
and Jewish worship settings. Cantor Levine will be joined on the Bimah by Cantor
Jacqueline Rawiszer, the CRJ Adult Choir, Shirim Ensemble, Kol Tikvah Youth Choir and
Shir Joy Teen Ensemble along with members of the Youth Choir of First Congregational Church of Winter Park,

Yoga Shalom: a Shacharit (Morning Service)
Embodiment of Prayer
Through Music, deep breathing, gentle yoga postures, and relaxation, we will
engage in morning prayers, gathering energy and healing. People of all physical
abilities are welcome to participate while seated in a chair. Quiet your mind, open
your heart and renew your spirit with Cantor Lisa Levine and her nationally

My Songs for the Jews of Cuba-A Special Concert (Tickets
$18 Regular Admission, $10 Seniors and Students)
Following Havdalah, Cantor Lisa Levine will present a special concert reflecting on
her experience as the first woman cantor to perform in Cuba. Paired with her
insightful narration and slides, the rich and varied program features Ladino songs,
Yiddish folk songs, cantorial gems, and ends with favorite Hebrew melodies.
