February What’s Happening? CASA MEA - MOLDOVA Maureen Wise works in Moldova with UFM Worldwide. She teaches social work in a Christian University in Chisinau but her main involvement is with Casa Mea – a Moldovan registered charity that works with adults with disabilities. 3 homes have been set up in recent years with a 4th one planned to open, hopefully in the Summer. Recent Update & Current Prayers Requests: - Ask God for peace in Moldova and continued freedom for the Gospel after recent elections and increasing pressure from Russia. The Moldovan Lei (currency) is falling in value too by the day - a real financial crisis and life very hard here for most people. Pray for completion of the house in Capriana and for His continued powerful work in individual lives. Pray for Tamara at the Badiceni government residence for mentally ill—She is near to believing in Christ. As many Christians see family moving to other parts of Europe, Russia and USA pray for those who remain in Moldova. The economy is closely linked to events in the Ukraine and in Russia but we know that the Lord is on the throne and we are looking only to Him. We are excited to see how God will work in 2015, especially with the Redhouse service becoming a church in its own right. We would appreciate it if you could contact one of the Elders and confirm which service you would like to worship, fellowship and serve in. Please confirm even if you are staying at the same location so that they can make plans for the future. Week of prayer:- We will be starting a week of prayer on Monday 2nd February. There will be prayer times at various times during the day that you can attend. Please see separate sheet for more information of venues. Our weekly prayer times will continue after this week but will be moving to Wednesdays (Locations on another sheet). Our corporate prayer meeting will be held on Thursday 26th at Abbey mead school (Butterfly room) at 7:30pm. It would be great to have as many people there as possible as we will be voting on Cliff Reynolds becoming an Elder, so please book your babysitter early (if you need one) and come along for some fellowship and prayer together. Ladies 50+ prayer time will meet at Joy’s (9 Elsham way) on Friday 6th February at 10am On Wednesday 18th February we will begin a series of planning meetings for the church in Redhouse. This will be a time to share the vision for Redhouse and start to put some of the structure in place of what this church will look like. We would love to see as many as possible attend these meetings. The meetings will be held at the Mitchells at 7:30pm 1st 8th Redhouse Abbey Meads Pm Abbey Meads Cliff Reynolds Acts 14 v 1-28 Fraser Kay Acts 14 v 1-28 Fraser Kay Mission Focus-Moldova Steve Mitchell Acts 15 v 1-35 Fraser Kay Acts 15 v 1-35 Fraser Kay 1 Sam 22v1-5 David in cave of Adullum 15th Cliff Reynolds Acts 15 v 36-41 Fraser Kay Acts 15 v 36-41 Steve Mitchell Communion 22nd Fraser Kay Acts 15 v 1-15 Ben Pike Acts 15 v 1-15 Fraser Kay 1 Sam 23,24 & 26 Saul Continues to persue Preaching elsewhere Antony Finnie 15th Calne Eve service Cliff Reynolds 22nd Coopers edge Baptist Gloucester Antony Finnie 24th Calne Ladies meeting Antony Finnie 29th Hilmarton Eve Service February 1st Week of Prayer 6th Ladies 50+ prayer time 6th Youth Bible study 8th Pulse 10th/11th Ladies Bible study 13th TBCE/TFNT 18th Prayer & Planning meeting RHouse 20th Youth Bible Study 22nd Pulse 24th/25th Ladies Bible study 26th Corporate prayer meeting 27th TBCE/TFNT March 4th Prayer & Planning meeting RHouse 6th Ladies 50+ prayer time 6th Youth Bible Study 7th Bristol women’s conference 8th Pulse 10th/11th Ladies Bible Study 13th TBCE/TFNT 18th Prayer & Planning meeting RHouse 20th Youth Bible Study 22nd Pulse 24th/25th Ladies Bible Study 27th TBCE/TFNT
