REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING IN YOUR PRAYERS
The sick: Jeanette Muha has been given antibiotics following an
appointment with her doctor regarding her elbow. Ruth Young remains at
Life Care Hospital. She has been placed in isolation due to an infection. No
visitors at this time. George Scruggs, a member here who has been in
Chicago to care for his mother, has been diagnosed with Lupus. If you would
like to send George a card his address is in the bulletin. Please keep Cody
Damon’s father in your prayers. He had colon cancer surgery this past
Thursday. Continue to pray for Phil and Elena Granado, Joyce Saddler,
Linda Planchard and Cathi Woods, who have not been feeling well.
Remember the following who have ongoing medical problems:
Gracie Anderson, Kathy Anderson, Lionel and Marta Cortez, Lucia
Delcambre, Robin Keller, Barbara and Jesse Sherrod, Opal Stewart,
June Trotter, George Xenos, and Ruth Young.
Remember our military: Nicholas Whetstone stationed in Germany.
Remember our brethren who are incarcerated: Angela Metcalf and Chance
Keller.
Prayer request: Steve Andreas requests prayers for his brother-in-law,
Eddie Day, who is in the hospital with a very aggressive bacterial infection.
Member encouragement forms for the months of January and February
have been placed on the table in front of the secretary’s office. Please sign up
to encourage our brethren.
Ladies Day at Victoria: The sign up sheet for the Midtown church of Christ
Annual Ladies Day has been posted on the bulletin board. “The
Lighthouse” will be presented on Saturday, 17 January. We will be
carpooling.
From the Elders: The congregation is in need of some one that is interested
in making audio copies of sermons available to others and posting them on
the church’s web site. Please see Mark Cobin if you would like more
