We have close to 150 women doing Bible study on various different days throughout the week. Begins January 6 and concludes at the end of March by T.W. Hunt & Catherine Walker The Family of Jesus by Karen Kingsbury Precept Romans, Part 1 by Kay Arthur One of our Tuesday morning studies will be, “Disciple’s Prayer Life (Walking in Fellowship with God).” We wanted to offer this study on prayer for the last couple of years but the time wasn’t right until now. This is, I believe, a study that you will look back on as a life-changing study. Our very own Nancy Peevy has been working for almost a year on putting together a large group teaching session time instead of using DVD’s for this study. Large group time will then divide into small group discussion times. Our other Tuesday morning study is, “The Family of Jesus” by Karen Kingsbury. Tuesday evening studies will be, “Precept Romans, Part 1” and other studies will be announced for Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoon. Registration for spring studies will begin November 23 both online and at the Women’s Ministry table in the sanctuary hallway and will remain open until studies begin. CHILDCARE is by reservation only and must be made no later than Dec. 23. Other Ladies of First information Did you know that our Women’s Ministry is represented by Lisa George at each of the First Connections events and gives a gift to every new woman who attends? Women on Mission (WOM) meets at 9 AM on the second Thursday of each month. Join us at the FBC Olive Street location in Room 100 for mission updates and participation in local, state, national, and international missions. Special speakers, projects, and most importantly prayer, are on the agenda for Fall/Winter/Spring. For more information, pick up a WOM flyer at either church location. Road Trip! 2015 LADIES RETREAT March 13-14 at the Doubletree at Warren Place in Tulsa. More details will be released closer to the event. Wow Ladies! I can’t believe that 2014 is coming to a close. What a busy, exciting, wonderful year it has been for Women’s Ministry and our church. I hope you feel, like I do, that it is a privilege to share life with this body of believers. I would like to take a minute to thank the members of the Women’s Ministry Counsel, all the women who volunteer to help make all of our events happen, our ministry staff, the administrative staff, and our custodial staff.
