Pensacola Beach
Our beaches provide an oasis for creating lasting
memories. In an effort to ensure your day at the beach is
“sun”sational, we encourage you to adhere to the
following:

You must submit the SRIA Event Checklist and $50.00 application fee –cash or
check- made to SRIA.
- Liability coverage, with Santa Rosa Island Authority and Escambia County as additional
insured, of $1,000,000 [one million dollars] for the day of event must accompany the
completed checklist.
- If the event is to use tents larger than 10’x12’, a tent permit application from
Escambia County Public Safety Bureau, Fire Prevention Division must be completed and
permit issued by Escambia County. Any size tent on the Gulf Side and/or during turtle
season –May1 through October 31 – must obtain permits from the Department of
Environmental Protection (DEP). This must take place a minimum of 90 days prior to
event.
- Completion of checklist does not guarantee approval of your event.
- All paperwork must be completed and returned within 90 days prior to your event for
processing. Paperwork may be submitted sooner than the 90 day requirement.
