PRAYER PAGE Mission of the Month St Peter’s Church was privileged to host Ana Demestri, Director of FEISA, an early years training college, in Asunción Paraguay whilst in the UK during her summer break. She was accompanied by Eileen Murphy, the founding Director. The link with St Peter’s has been very important for the institution in providing ongoing scholarships to support students in need and in establishing the mobile Toy Library. During her time here she was able to visit home groups, a local Pre School, our own church Primary School, Peterborough Cathedral and to make a trip to London. She is currently in Rostrevor, Northern Ireland, and will have attended S.A.M.S Ireland ‘Friday Night Live’ gathering before returning home. We were encouraged to realise that FEISA is an acronym for Faith Excellence Integrity Solidarity Amor (=love), all of which was fully exemplified in Ana’s presence among us. Let us pray for her to continue in strength and faith in her professional and daily life, and to return home safely and heartened by her overseas visit. We pray for those in need: Charlotte, Christina, John Beaumont, Richard & Pauline Coombes, Paul Eccles, Steve Hart, Sheila Johnson, Peter Leach, Peter Light, David and Joan Macey, Derek Mayhew, Phyllis Marsden Sometimes we face particular crises in our lives and need the support of our church family. Our Pastoral Care Team is there to support those in need. This may be to those who are sick in hospital or at home, or recently bereaved, or who are isolated through caring for small children, a lack of mobility or old age. If you, or anyone you know, needs any care or support, please let Lynda Davies (272121) know. We pray for those who mourn and remember with thanksgiving those who have died: Phylis Eveleigh, Timothy Hinitt, Margery Hipsom We pray for all those serving with the Armed Forces here and overseas. Sunday 1st February 2015 Today’s 10:30 service is Holy Communion led by Stephen Webster and Lynda Davies who is also preaching. If you are here for the first time, do make yourself known to one of the Welcome Team. They would love to help you with any questions about church life. Why not stay for coffee after the service? Information about Junior Church is printed below and there is a Crèche Room in the Tower Room at the back, where you are welcome to stay with your child and enjoy the service. If you need Communion brought to you in your seat please tell the Welcome Team. If you need the hearing aid loop, please sit within the pillared area. HEADLINE NEWS!
