Class Photographs 2014 All photo orders have been sent home this week. Please ensure that you have your orders returned to the office no later than next Friday 24th of October. Thank you Lynda Our wonderful Office Executive, Lynda Ingram, has been working above and beyond the call of duty to reinvigorate our school gardens. Step 1 has been completed with more to come in the following weeks. Lynda’s plan is to replace some of our old woody plants with some durable natives interspersed with some ornamental plants. A special thanks also to Lynda’s son, Tyler, who has been water blasting the school buildings. Welcome to Lisa Williams Lisa will be working with us as a Teacher Aide for the rest of this year. It is great to have her on board. Fundraiser Chocolates – YUMMY! First boxes have been sent home this week. Please return money in the envelope provided clearly stating students name. More boxes will available from the office tomorrow. Thank you to the students who have already sold their boxes returned their money and are eager to sell some more. Well Done! KIDS CONNECT Kids Connect will commence next Thursday 23 October, 3-5pm in the Whare Hui. We will have a 6 week programme this term finishing with a Christmas finale and family BBQ at the van Rij home, 80 School Rd, Thursday 27 November. Children turning 7 this term are welcome to join us next week. Parents just need to fill out a registration form with contact details etc, available from the office or from Adrienne on Thursday. ! It is great for confidence, strength and flexibility. We emphasize fun and fitness and it is fantastic for developing co-ordination. Classes are for girls aged 4 and above for recreational and competitive classes. We are based at The NZ Institute of Sport building in the main gymnasium at 66bWharenui Road, Riccarton. Muddy Good Run Muddy Good Run is on Sunday the 19th of October 2014. The Muddy Good Run is being held in Rakaia with the Children's race starting at 10.00am then followed by the Adults Races. This is a reminder that the school that has the largest percentage of their school roll entered will win $1,000 of sports equipment.
