Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort
from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and
compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love,
being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain
conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. 5 In your relationships with one another,
have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:…

First-time visitors: We would like to meet you! Please stop by the table
in the narthex just outside the sanctuary to receive a special gift.
Food donated by Panera Bread is available for families to pick up
after service, in the Connection Café. Please call the office if you
are interested in volunteering to help distribute this food.
"The Attitudes of Successful Christian Living" is the topic for the new
Bible Study series on Wednesday nights at 6:30. This study will take us into
the real life experience of an imprisoned man of God, the Apostle Paul, who
shares with his readers the secret of overcoming personal
bouts with discouragement and doubts. This small but
powerful epistle to the Philippians offers tremendous insight
into how to maintain a joyful heart in spite of less than desirable circumstances. Join us on this exploration of faith into
the hidden treasury of God's Word!
The flowers today are given by Dickie and Kaye Rook to the
glory of God and in honor of Bertha Allen, Kaye's mother,
who celebrates her 100th birthday Wednesday, February 4.
In the month of January $3,500 was given into Capital Campaign
which was applied directly to the principal of the mortgage. Thank
you for your faithfulness in helping to reduce the church debt.
At 6:00 this evening all members are encouraged to
meet in the main sanctuary for intercessory prayer.
Prayer is needed for our church, its leadership, the
various ministries, and individual or family needs.
Do you want to take your knowledge and experience of the Bible to a whole new
level? Then consider joining others in our church as we take a
Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, October 22-30, 2015. See Pastor
Ted or Reverend Ray James today for more information.
