VIM (Volunteers in Mission) Team to Mameyes, Puerto Rico
For the 26th year, Pastor Lou Troester & Jay Mueller will be co-directing the Funk Volunteers
In Mission Team to Camp Carson, Puerto Rico, where they will serve as site leadership & support for various Methodist Ministry
assignments in the area.
The scope of work includes:
Plumbing & electrical installation & repair
Roofing
Concrete
General Maintenance as required.
In the area of Medical Ministry—the team will staff a Dental Clinic & a Veterinarian Clinic.
While in Puerto Rico, Pastor Lou has the opportunity & the privilege to Preach the Gospel in
the churches of Mameyes & Old San Jan.
The Team for 2015 sponsored by Chiques UMC is 30 members including: 2 doctors & assistants, 1 retired RN, masonry persons, 3 eletricians, carpenters, “gophers," general laborers, staff support persons (cooking, laundry etc), 4 children with parents & 1 retired clergyman Rev Lou Troester, lll.
