CIRCULAR
Some field officers have brought into the notice that ITI holder(s) in
Electrical & Mechanical branch are approaching to their office for carrying out
various activities on CLRC rates provided condition of having electrical license
to be issued by Govt. of Rajasthan is not insisted upon them or same may be
arranged from Chief Electrical Inspector at the level of Discom. This issue has
been examined and found that following activities can be assigned to In/
Diploma/Degree in electrical or mechanical branch. Material, if required, in
execution of assigned work may not be issued to them and in case there is
requirement of material, same may be issued to CCA/Line Men 1)r JIEN
concerned. Normal security deposit in cash (non interest bearing) Rs. 5000/including registration fees (non refundable) Rs. 1000/- may be accepted under
E-IV category of registration. Activities may include(i)
Replacement of defective meters.
(ii)
Electricity bill distribution work.
(iii) Meter reading.
(iv) Single Phase & Three phase Distribution Transformer repla( ernent
and checking with respect to check list provided ry the
department.
(v)
Any field survey / Patrolling work.
(vi) Fabrication and Transportation etc.
(vii) Other works as listed in CLRC as per eligibility.
Above person will be registered by the Circle SEs on depositing
Rs. 5000/- and other terms and conditions as mentioned in the
detailed order issued vide No. JPD/CMD/Dir.(Fin.)/Rules/F.111/D.890 dated
26/29.04.2011(1PD/Rules-735) will remain unaltered.

As regard registration with Electrical Inspector , GoR , all the ITI Holders
Hectriuil / Mechanical) who intend to work with Discom on CLRC rate may fill
tip enclosed application form and deposit the same alongwith prescribed fees
(presently Its. 250/-) to Circle SE. On receipt of these application , the Circle' SE
will deposit alongwith fees to Chief Electrical Inspector , GoR for iss6ing
titicate.
This hears the approval of Chairman, Discoms.
