She has taught at many institutions including Princeton, Harvard, and the American University in Beirut. Her books include 49 Cities and the forthcoming Architecture and Representation: The Arab City. Andraos was born in Lebanon. She serves on the board of the Architectural League of New York and on the faculty steering committee for the Columbia Global Centers | Middle East. He studied at and the University of California at Berkeley and began his career as a draftsman in the joint studio of R. Buckminster Fuller and Isamu Noguchi in Long Island City in . He has practiced structural engineering in San Francisco and New York. In Nordenson established the New York office of Ove Arup & Partners and was its director until , when he began his current practice Guy Nordenson Associates. In he cofounded the Structural Engineers Association of New York. He is Commissioner and Secretary of the New York City Public Design Commission. Armand Grüntuch und Almut Grüntuch-Ernst führen seit 1991 gemeinsam ein Büro in Berlin. Armand Grüntuch studierte an der Aachen und der Venedig, Almut Grüntuch-Ernst an der Universität Stuttgart und der in London. Beide haben an der HdK Berlin gelehrt, seit 2011 ist Almut GrüntuchErnst Professorin an der Braunschweig. Das Werk von Grüntuch Ernst umfasst Wohn- und Bürogebäude, Verkehrsbauten, Hotels und Bildungseinrichtungen, aber auch Sonderaufgaben wie die Konzeption und Gestaltung des deutschen Beitrags auf der Architekturbiennale 2006 in Venedig. Für ihre Bauten, u. a. in Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig und zuletzt in Chemnitz und Madrid, haben sie zahlreiche nationale und internationale Auszeichnungen erhalten.
