He first came to Japan as a participant on the JET Program. He worked as an English teacher in a few schools, including Mie High School. He has actively been researching and using drama in his classes since 2009. Presentation 1 Title "Using Drama to Motivate and Reinforce Learning in English Communication Courses" Workshop Title "Drama Games and Techniques to Energize Student Performance" Presenter 2: David Kluge Professor Nanzan University Department of English Kluge has taught in high schools in the US and Japan for 8 years, and at universities for 26 years. He has taught using drama for 34 years.
