Für Liebhaber von Manuskripten und alten Büchern, aber auch für die, die die Geschichte der
Gegend kennenlernen möchten, ist das Museum,
das dem italienischen Schriftsteller und Patrioten
Ippolito Nievo (1831-1861) gewidmet ist, ein
hochinteressanter Ort. Hier kann man verschiedene Ausgaben des berühmtesten Romans des
Autors, „Bekenntnisse eines Italieners“, sowie
Handschriften und andere Werke bewundern.
Außerdem ist Keramik aus dem Hochmittelalter
und der Renaissance ausgestellt, die bei Ausgrabungen an der Residenz von Nievo, dem Kastell
Fratta, gefunden wurden.

the museum dedicated to Italian writer and patriot
Ippolito Nievo (1831-1861) is a real gem. Here

I mussi? Si, gli asinelli che in settembre diventano i
protagonisti della grande festa che si tiene a Teglio
Veneto. Qui, oltre alla tradizionale sfilata degli asini,
si può rivivere l’atmosfera della campagna di inizio
‘900 con i figuranti che nelle vie eseguono attività
ormai in disuso come la filatura o la lavorazione del
ferro. C’è anche la cantina tipica che viene aperta
solo in questa occasione. E poi ci sono i piatti tipici,
i balli, le rappresentazioni teatrali: le iniziative sono
tante e adatte a grandi e bambini.

Der „Mussi“? Ja, die Esel sind im September die
Protagonisten des großen Festes, das in Teglio Veneto stattfindet. Hier kann man nicht nur die traditionelle Parade der Esel erleben, sondern dank
der Statisten, die auf den Straßen inzwischen in
Vergessenheit geratenen Tätigkeiten, wie Spinnen
oder Bearbeitung von Eisen, nachgehen, auch in
die Atmosphäre eintauchen, die zu Beginn des
20. Jahrhunderts auf dem Land herrschte. Es gibt
auch einen charakteristischen Weinkeller, der nur zu
jener Gelegenheit für Besucher geöffnet ist. Und
dann gibt es noch die einheimischen Gerichte, Tänze und Theaterdarstellungen: Die zahlreichen Initiativen sind für Groß und Klein geeignet.
