location and building micro architecture in Venice Die Ränder unserer Städte sind meist Zonen, die nicht den Regeln urbaner Bebauung folgen. Sie bieten Platz für Microarchitektur, die sich ihren eigenen Kontext schaffen. Der Stadtrand von Venedig ist durch das Wasser präzise definiert, dennoch finden sich Orte, die geeignet sind, kleine Bauten zu errichten. Unsere Aufgabe für den Workshop wird sein, einen solchen Ort in der Lagune von Venedig zu finden, und eine Wohneinheit dafür zu entwerfen. Das Projekt soll die Beziehung zwischen Land und Wasser thematisieren. Die Wohneinheit soll die minimalen Lebensbedürfnisse für zwei Personen während der warmen Jahreshälfte erfüllen können. Das Projekt soll als Holzkonstruktion geplant werden. Es soll rasch und einfach herstellbar sein, leicht zu transportieren und ohne tiefe Spuren am Bauplatz zu hinterlassen, wieder abbaubar sein. Der Entwurf soll auch im Modell dargestellt werden. Edificio e contesto Microarchitettura a Venezia I margini delle nostre città sono principalmente zone, che non seguono le regole della crescita urbana. Esse offrono spazio a quelle microarchitetture, che riescano a trovare il proprio, personale contesto. La periferia di Venezia è delimitata nettamente dall´acqua: tuttavia vi si trovano luoghi adatti ad accogliere piccoli edifici. Il nostro compito in questo Workshop sarà appunto trovare un tale luogo nella laguna di Venezia, e progettare un´unità abitativa da inserirvi. Il progetto dovrà tematizzare la relazione tra terra ed acqua. L´abitazione dovrà essere in grado di soddisfare le esigenze abitative minime per due persone durante la metà calda dell´anno. Il progetto va pensato per una tipologia costruttiva in legno. L´edificio dovrà essere rapidamente e facilmente fabbricabile, agevole da trasportare e montare in situ, e poter essere facilmente demolito. Il progetto dovrà essere rappresentato anche in un modello. location and building micro architecture in Venice The peripheries of our cities are mostly areas that do not follow any urbanistic rules. Nevertheless these areas can offer some space for micro architectural works to create their own context. Although the edge of Venice is precisely defined by the waterfront, it is possible to find locations to establish small, solitary buildings. The task in our workshop is to find such a location in Venice and to design a living unit for this special situation. This living unit should fulfill the requirement of accommodations for two persons during summer time. The project should be a wood construction. The construction process should be quick and simple and the footprint (damage) on the site should be minor in case the building should be disassembled. The project should be presented in drawing as well as in a large scale model.
