English text underneath the Dutch one. Use-it B.V. is op zoek naar een bedrijfsleider: gemiddeld 32 uur per week vanaf 1-2-2015 Use-it is het backpackers informatie centrum in Rotterdam sinds 1997. Het maakt jonge toeristen wegwijs, zorgt dat zij ook de alternatieve kanten van Rotterdam te zien krijgen en maakt het mogelijk dat zij in contact komen met leeftijdsgenoten. Een onderdeel van Use-it is hostel De Mafkees waar backpackers voor € 12,50 per nacht kunnen slapen en ontbijten. Dit alles gebeurd op drie slaapzalen, met een totaal van 124 bedden, op 10 minuten lopen vanaf Rotterdam C.S. Daarnaast organiseert Use-it evenementen zoals optredens van bands, Halloween party en “Heavy food Wednesday evening”, enz.. Het hostel wordt bemenst door een aantal (afhankelijk van het seizoen) oproepkrachten. Het geven en produceren van informatie gebeurt door 4 jongeren die een jaar bij ons werken op basis van European Volunteer Service (EVS) Voor meer informatie kan je terecht op onze site en FB pagina. Wij zoeken iemand die: • • • • • • • • • snapt hoe Horeca en dan met name het hotel gedeelte, in elkaar zit hoe je een hostel runt en samen met 6-13 medewerker op een nulurencontract de boel 24/7 in de lucht houdt niet te beroerd is om indien noodzakelijk zelf een dienst te werken (inclusief de nachtdiensten en inclusief het schoonmaken van de toiletten) onze gasten een “Home away from home” weet te bieden, waarbij de vriendelijkheid van onze staf een cruciale factor is in staat is om onze EVS vrijwilligers te begeleiden en motiveren ideeën heeft hoe wij ons evenementen programma kunnen uitbreiden kan omgaan met administratieve –, schoonmaak – en voedsel hygiëne systemen en die ook kan handhaven bereikbaar wil zijn wanneer er grote problemen zijn in het hostel ook op moment dat er sprake is van vrije tijd uitstekend Engels kan spreken en schrijven Wij bieden: • • • • • • de leukste baan in Rotterdam een goed salaris ondersteuning van collega's van stichting JONG een organisatie voor jongerenwerk die in Rotterdam, Zoetermeer en Gouda werkzaam is.
