A Year‐Round Model The Christian initiation of adults (including children over 7 years of age) is a gradual and individual process that takes place within the community of the faithful BUT respects the needs of each individual within that initiating community. It is suited to the spiritual journey of adults that varies accord‐
ing to the many forms of God’s grace, the free cooperation of the individuals, the action of the Church and the circum‐
stances of time and place. The journey will be tailored to respect the needs of EACH person who comes to us with his or her own history of God’s grace in his or her lives. People come to us with different histories, and those histories are to be respected. The process is different for unbaptized person compared to baptized and catechized person. Join anytime‐‐
‐complete the process anytime! Call the office, ext. 120 for more details or email [email protected] Special Opportunity for Adults to be Confirmed Are you an active practicing adult who “missed” participating in The Sacrament of Confirmation? We invite you to enter a short process of preparation and celebrate the Sacrament on the Feast of Pentecost, Sunday, May 24. If you are interested in celebrating your Confirmation please contact Janet Hassan, ext. 120 or [email protected]. Catholics Come Home OLMC will begin a series for non‐
practicing Catholics who are seeking an‐
swers to questions about returning to the Church. Do you know someone who has left the Church? Most of us do not have to look very far to find members of our family or friends who are no longer active in their faith. Please share your precious gift of faith and invite them to Come Home. They are waiting for the invitation to return! Our program will begin after Easter. For more information, 595‐0385 ext. 120 or email at [email protected]. OLMC School has long enjoyed a reputation for academic excellence, which was magnified in 2009 when it was awarded the National Blue Ribbon of Excellence for its sustained, distinguished academic achievement. The Blue Ribbon is a national recognition of what the students have always received at OLMC – a strong foundation in academics, morals, and discipline. The students and teachers, supported by the wider parent community and the parish, engage in teaching and learning in a creative, warm, Christ‐centered environment. OLMC School is a “military friendly” school! If you would like a tour of our school or have any questions about a particular grade, curriculum requirements or available financial aid, please call Mrs. Tucker at 596‐2754.
