know of anyone who is hearing impaired, please invite them to

WELCOME THE VISITING MADONNA
While we are encouraged to embrace Jesus’ cross, perhaps the
next best thing we can do as the faithful is to turn to the Blessed
Mother for guidance…”Blessed Mother, please help me.” As
human beings, we can’t do everything. But the Blessed Mother
can go to her Son Jesus and do wonders.
The Knights of Columbus are offering intimate prayer devotions
in your own homes to all parishioners so that every family may
experience visitation for one week from our Visiting Madonna.
Families will begin to experience a sense of peace, quiet and
reflection while saying the Rosary as a family with Our Lady. The
family that prays together stays together. If you are interested in
participating in welcoming the Visiting Madonna, please call Sam
Konrad at (843) 399-7003 or email him at [email protected].
This week, The Visiting Madonna will be presented to
Tony & Ceferina Meli at the 5:00 PM Mass.

Response to Holy Trinity Catholic School’s Annual Fund appeal has been good but more donations

Fund Appeal closes at the end of May. Please help Holy Trinity Catholic School to complete all
planned projects. Donations may be sent to HTCS, 1760 Living Stones Lane, Longs, SC 29568.
Thank you!

Catholic Church; becoming Catholic; and being fully
initiated into the Catholic Church through the celebration
of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation & Eucharist,

CATHOLIC CHARITIES
My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings in Christ! I pray this letter finds
you and your loved ones well and in
good spirits.
As the shepherd of our Diocese, it is my
responsibility to nurture a response to
God’s will and to provide for the holistic
formation of men who entered the seminary in order to
discern the priesthood. As a part of this request, on
Sunday, May 17, 2015, we will take up our Annual
Seminarian Collection to help in the support of the 11
men who are studying for the priesthood in our Diocese.
Their formation process, which you are supporting, will
provide us with future priests who are spiritually,
intellectually, and pastorally ready to shepherd in
Christ’s name.
In addition to your financial support, I ask you to pray
that more young men respond to God’s call to the
priesthood; our needs in the Diocese of Charleston are
great and our Catholic population continues to increase.
I ask all our people in the Diocese to offer
encouragement to young men to consider the
priesthood and to young women to consider the call to
religious life. “The Harvest is Great, but Laborers are
few.”
Your generosity will help provide for the spiritual needs
of the Church in the Diocese of Charleston. Let us
together pray that God will continue to send us good
and holy priests to service his faithful people.
In the Lord’s peace,
Most Reverend Robert E. Guglielmone
Bishop of the Diocese of Charleston

QUINTO DOMINGO DE PASCUA
FELIZ DIA DE LAS MADRES
Queridos Hermanos:
hijos y me quedé allí viviendo. Estaba feliz con mi vida, mi casa y mis comodidades. Cierto día, mi madre
vino a visitarme.
dije: "Cómo te atreves a venir a mi casa, a espantar a mis hijos...
Entonces mis vecinos me
haber ido a tu casa a visitarte y haber espantado a tus hijos.
hijos. Dios las bendiga hoy y siempre...Felicitaciones queridas madres.
Cordialmente;
Padre Orlando.
