Welcome the Visiting Madonna - While we are encouraged to embrace Jesus’ cross, perhaps the next best thing we can do as the faithful is to turn to the Blessed Mother for guidance…”Blessed Mother, please help me.” As human beings, we can’t do everything. But the Blessed Mother can go to her Son Jesus and do wonders. The Knights of Columbus are offering intimate prayer devotions in your own homes to all parishioners so that every family may experience visitation for one week from our Visiting Madonna. Families will begin to experience a sense of peace, quiet and reflection while saying the Rosary as a family with Our Lady. The family that prays together stays together. If you are interested in participating in welcoming the Visiting Madonna, please call Sam Konrad at (843) 399-7003 or email him at [email protected]. Your financial donations and food contributions are our only means of support for this growing need in the North Myrtle Beach Communities. These programs could not exist without You. Thank You, and May God Continue to Bless You. IMPORTANT PARKING REMINDER Please remember not to park on either side of 8th Ave. N. Our hearts, minds and prayers are also especially aware of the Holy Land. Once a year on Good Friday, we are called on to support Christians in the Holy Land. Many Christians in the Holy Land depend on the collection for their lives. As a pontifical collection requested by Pope Francis, the annual Good Friday Collection offers a direct link for parishioners to be witnesses of peace and to help protect the Holy Places. When you donate on Good Friday, you are supporting Christians in the Holy Land. Franciscans and others in the Holy Land are housing and feeding the poor, providing religious formation and education, maintaining shrines and parishes, and conducting pastoral ministry. The Good Friday Collection is requested by the Holy Father. Please be as generous as you can. In the Lord’s Peace, Most Reverend Robert E. Guglielmone Bishop of the Diocese of Charleston NEXT WEEK— SECOND COLLECTION Holy Trinity Catholic School To All Graduating Seniors If you are a graduating High School Senior and a Member of Our Lady Star of the Sea parish and planning to continue your education, the Ladies Guild would like to hear from you.
