conversion and growth, over time, in one’s

exploring a relationship with Jesus Christ; inquiring
about the Catholic Church; becoming Catholic; and
being fully initiated into the Catholic Church through
the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism,
Confirmation & Eucharist,
WE WELCOME YOU!

Welcome the Visiting Madonna - While we are
encouraged to embrace Jesus’ cross, perhaps the next best
thing we can do as the faithful is to turn to the Blessed
Mother for guidance…”Blessed Mother, please help me.” As
human beings, we can’t do everything. But the Blessed
Mother can go to her Son Jesus and do wonders.
The Knights of Columbus are offering intimate prayer
devotions in your own homes to all parishioners so that
every family may experience visitation for one week from
our Visiting Madonna. Families will begin to experience a
sense of peace, quiet and reflection while saying the Rosary
as a family with Our Lady. The family that prays together
stays together.
If you are interested in participating in
welcoming the Visiting Madonna, please call Sam Konrad at
(843) 399-7003 or email him at [email protected].
This week, The Visiting Madonna will be presented to
Lenny & Joyce Recchia at the 5:00 PM Mass.

OLSS OUTREACH MINISTRY
Thank you for your continued support for OUR LADY’S
KITCHEN and our families in the Food Distribution Program.
Our need is still great. Many have had hours cut from work,
putting another strain on the family income this winter
season. Our Food Security program and Our Lady’s Kitchen
have been a real life support for the families who struggle to
make ends meet. Your financial donations and food
contributions are our only means of support for this
growing need in the North Myrtle Beach Communities.
These programs could not exist without You.
Thank You,
and May God Continue to Bless You.
IMPORTANT PARKING REMINDER
Please remember not to park on either side of 8th Ave.
N. The North Myrtle Beach Police will be enforcing the
16 “No Parking Signs” with tickets.
Please do not park your car in front of the Home Depot loading
docks or it may be towed. Home Depot receives deliveries every
day of the week and their trucks need access to the loading zone.
Mobile Meals of the North Strand
We need your help. Mobile Meals of the North Strand, a very
important ministry delivering hot meals to shut-ins five days a
week, is in urgent need of drivers. Mobile Meals will train each
driver for the daily route. Drivers rotate and usually drive two to
three times a month on given days. If you are interested in
helping, please call Mark Bermingham at 843-213-9519.

Bishop’s Annual Appeal
Good Friday Collection
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Christians around the world are united in a
special way during Lent, Holy Week and
Easter. Our hearts, minds and prayers are
also especially aware of the Holy Land.
Once a year on Good Friday, we are called on to support
Christians in the Holy Land. Many Christians in the Holy
Land depend on the collection for their lives.
As a pontifical collection requested by Pope Francis, the
annual Good Friday Collection offers a direct link for
parishioners to be witnesses of peace and to help protect
the Holy Places. When you donate on Good Friday, you
are supporting Christians in the Holy Land.
Franciscans and others in the Holy Land are housing and
feeding the poor, providing religious formation and
education, maintaining shrines and parishes, and
conducting pastoral ministry.
The Good Friday Collection is requested by the Holy
Father. Please be as generous as you can.
In the Lord’s Peace,
Most Reverend Robert E. Guglielmone
Bishop of the Diocese of Charleston

DOMINGO DE RAMOS
SEMANA SANTA
Queridos Hermanos:
Hemos comenzado La Semana Santa.
extraordinariamente malas, sino personas normales y corrientes.
juzgado y condenado a nuestros amigos y familiares...verdad?.
