St Peter’s is a thriving parish and this is thanks to all the good parishioners. Southwark Seminarians from Rome & Wonersh Gather with Us Once again, we will be hosting the Southwark Seminarians and Vocations th Director on Tuesday 30 December. They will be joining us for Mass at 12.30pm and gathering for lunch in the Parish Centre. Please do keep them all in your prayers and pray for an increase in vocations. Wednesday Evening Group th The Wednesday evening prayer group will not be meeting until 14 January as there will be no Wednesday evening Mass due to the Christmas and New Year festive season. There will be some changes to the timings and activities which will be communicated to you all when we begin next year. We hope to see you in the New Year. Message from Fr Thomas Bakulumpagi Dear Clergy and the Faithfull of St Peter the Apostle Woolwich. Please accept my sincere thanks and gratitude for your support and personal gifts towards my ordination to the priesthood. Special thanks to all of you who joined th me at the Cathedral on the 5 December; and here in your parish where I celebrated my First Mass the following day. As most of you know I have been posted at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Southwark, a stone’s throw away from St Peter’s, Woolwich. I will always keep you close in my prayers, and I also ask you to bring me in your thoughts and prayers as I We hope that we have not left anyone out. Mass for Deceased (2014) Parishioners, Family and Friends st Please note the 12.30pm Mass on Wednesday 31 December will be offered for the Deceased of 2014. Names of those who have died in the parish during this year, will be called out. Many families have also faced bereavement when close members of their family have died either in this country or abroad. If you would let us have their names, we will be happy to offer you the chance to have them remembered on the last day of the year 2014.
