GBGA staff evaluates, places and promotes all players: Freshman: New players with limited experience, age range is 6 - 11 years. Sophomore/Senior: Intermediate to advanced players, age range is 8 - 18 years. The George Bryan Golf Academy is the first golf academy for juniors in the midlands. It is the only learning institution to offer state of the art facilities, equipment and technology, such as the MEGSA Perfect Practice and V-1 Computer Video systems. A proven curriculum that has been designed by a team of educators and golf experts. Curriculums are complete, current, constantly updated and most importantly proven! George Bryan and his staff spend many weeks each year studying and training under and with the best educational golf and playing experts in the country to ensure all students are afforded every advantage. CLASS SCHEDULES: Tuesdays - Weed Hill Driving Range 6:00 - 6:55 PM Fresh/Soph/Sr Wednesdays - GBGA Learning Center 5:00 - 5:55 PM Fresh 6:00 - 6:55 PM Soph/Sr Thursdays - Northwoods Golf Club 5:00 - 5:55 PM Fresh/Soph/Sr Saturdays - GBGA Learning Center 10:00 - 10:55 AM Fresh 11:00 - 11:55 AM Soph/Sr 12:00 - 12:55 PM Structured play/Make-up IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, CLASSES WILL BE CONDUCTED AS SCHEDULED Class will NOT operate Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve or New Years Day Class Make-up: Classes paid by the month will not be prorated for absences but makeup classes are offered during structured play on Saturdays 12:00 - 12:55 pm or during any scheduled class of same level on other day &/or location. College Prep Class The College Prep Class is designed for the passionate junior golfer with the desire to improve and play competitive golf. The curriculum is designed for a 12 month cycle and is complex. Every segment involves preparation of the junior golfer for competition and is based on a seasonal schedule. Some of these essential topics include: Conditioning, nutrition, fundamentals of the game, learning how to travel, designing a competition schedule, and the college recruiting process. Class meets formally for two hours a week, Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00 pm and Saturdays 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Eligibility and acceptance will be determined by GBGA Staff. For qualifications or more information on joining the College Prep Class, please call 803-7812063. The fee structure for the class is $120 per month, plus special program surcharges. Three month blocks can be prepaid for a discounted rate of $285. There is also the option of paying $40 per week. Private lessons are recommended as a supplement on an as needed basis.
