Accommodation - Located on three floors, amidst our shady tree-ferned courtyard
garden and water features, these easy, compact rooms include a ±25m² bedroom

Food & Drink - The Vineyard Hotel & Spa boasts two outstanding restaurants, “the

The Montagu - Fancourt
The Fancourt Golf Resort was recently ranked in the top 10 Golf Resorts
in the world, and is the only Golf Resort in South Africa with 3
breathtaking Golf courses, all originally designed by Gary Player. The
Montagu course is a much celebrated parkland course and has been
ranked as the number-one golf course in South Africa in the past. Play is
restricted to members, their guests and hotel guests, so there is ample
time and space to savour the Fancourt golfing experience. It is,
however, always a good idea to book in advance to ensure that you get
your desired tee time. Fancourt also boasts a world class Golf Academy,
with outstanding practise and warm-up facilities.
The Outeniqua - Fancourt
Outeniqua, named after the mountain range that overlooks the area
has a different look than the Montagu, so they complement each other
perfectly as varying playing experiences. The Outeniqua is regarded as
the easier course of the two, being more open in appearance, yet it has
its share of challenges and risk-and-reward moments. Water hazards
or streams come into play on as many as 11 of the holes, including 4 of
the last 5. The warm-up area, featuring a full-length range and a
chipping and bunker practice area, is available to all golfers before play.
Golf carts are available for hire, weather permitting.
The Links - Fancourt
Created from a previously flat piece of land, over 700 000 cubic metres
of earth was moved in transforming The Links at Fancourt from an
airstrip into a typical Links style course. The course presents undulating
windswept terrain and dune-style landscape - The result being an aweinspiring course eliciting praise from some of the world’s finest golfers.
Every hole has attention to detail ensuring overall balance in terms of
length, position of hazards and shot values are in harmony. As a result,
The Links presents a stern test in all weather conditions and bound to
test the best golfer in every way. One of the extraordinary holes
include the par-3 second, with its bunker in the heart of the enormous
green. The Links at Fancourt is a private club, with play restricted to
members and their invited guests.

Pezula
The Pezula Golf Course is a “Scottish links-style" course with a similar look
to that of Gleneagles in the Scottish Highlands and Pebble beach on the
Monterey coastline. Featuring cool-season grasses and five different tee
placements to satisfy, challenge and reward all golfers. The varied coastal
terrain offers a complete golfers' menu requiring a full range of shots
with signature holes having been earmarked as the 13th and 14th. The
area known as the East Heads has become the site of 18 spectacular
championship holes of golf at Pezula and 250 hectares of well-planned
residential properties and natural fynbos growth.
Clovelly
Nestled in the pristine and tranquil Silvermine Valley close to Fish Hoek in
Cape Town lies Clovelly Country Club. With one of the finest golf courses
in South Africa, Clovelly offers its members and visitors a memorable
experience. Built among sand dunes, rewards accuracy off the tee and
provides players with scenic views of the False Bay coastline. Famous for
its rolling, computer-irrigated fairways and undulating holes, Clovelly
complements its rich coastal environment. Natural sand dunes are all
over the course, which is blessed with water features and a wide variety
of indigenous fauna and flora.
De Zalze
De Zalze Golf Course offers a fine mix of parkland holes, its main defences
being the water features on several of the holes. The oak-lined
Blaauwklippen River winds its way through the golf estate and comes into
play at various intervals. The second nine is particularly interesting. You
can tee off from an island which will probably make this par-four the
signature hole. The par five with two fairways is another interesting hole
set amongst the citrus trees. De Zalze Golf Club welcomes visiting golfers
from around the globe and is geared to provide an exceptional
experience from the moment you arrive. De Zalze Golf Course is equally
enjoyable and challenging – a big must for holiday golfers of all skill levels.

Erinvale
The Gary Player-designed golf course was host to the 1996 World Cup of
Golf and has fast become renowned both locally and abroad. This is a
course with two distinctly different nines. The demanding front nine
meanders through park-like terrain and the back nine provides a
contrasting challenge winding its way through the foothills of the
mountains with panoramic views of False Bay. The signature hole is the
par-four 17th hole, a great finishing hole that swoops downhill and is an
extreme test of nerves playing from an elevated tee towards a long and
narrow green.
Royal Cape
With a magnificent view of the glorious Table Mountain, Royal Cape has a
rich history that spans 130 years of proud tradition. Royal Cape is the
current host of the Lion of Africa Cape Town Open, and has played host to
the South African Open on no fewer than 10 occasions. Past winners of
championship events include Gary Player, Mark McNulty and Ernie Els.
The course is designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. Tree
lined with narrow fairways and subtle USGA spec built greens, Royal
presents a traditional test of golf, although the numerous ponds and lakes
teeming with bird life provide beauty and distraction along the way.
