Health and Safety
You are asked to think of other people’s
children when leaving your
dogs at the front of the
school; some children are
genuinely frightened when
walking past.
Remember that the first day of term
for the children is
Tuesday 6 January 2015
Reception Christmas Eucharist
Wow, what a FANTASTIC church
Service we shared on Wednesday.
A true reminder that:‘Jesus is the Reason for the Season!’
Thank you so much for helping us to
remember that, amidst all the festive fun,
Christmas is actually the celebration of a
remarkable birth many, many years ago.
During the school closure, please take time to
enjoy all your own family celebrations.
NOWZAD
Please bring in any use postage stamps as Juniors are
collecting them to support the NOWZAD charity. You can
find out all about the charity on the internet but essentially
its aim is to improve the welfare of the animals of
Afghanistan; which includes humanely reducing the stray dog
population which in turn will reduce the incidents of canine
rabies, provide animal welfare education for the Afghan
people and develop training programmes to improve the
lives of working animals.
Help!
We need scrap paper or colouring
books for use outside by those
children who would rather not engage
in energetic play! Thank you!
Energy Saving!
We can report that the Infant School has
successfully reduced its CO2 and Gas and
Electric usage by 5%. This equates to a saving
of £188.86.
Well done everyone!!
Missing uniform..
Matilda Knights’ labelled
cardigan is missing, please
could you check that your
child has the correct one.
Clubs Commencing 5 January 2015

Mayoral Visit
The Mayor has asked me to pass on her
congratulations to all our children.
Attending both our Christmas Bazaar and
Christmas Eucharist she has had the
opportunity to see, first hand, how super
St Alphege Infant and Nursery children are.
She is looking forward to her visit to both
Infant and Junior schools in January 2015.
