Gary Rosenblatt is editor and publisher of The Jewish
Week of New York, the largest Jewish newspaper in
America. Rosenblatt has won numerous journalism
awards from both the Jewish and secular press for his
writing, and was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize in 1985.
A collection from 20 years of his weekly columns,
Between The Lines: Reflections on the American Jewish
Experience, was published in December 2013.

Shabbat, December 13, following Mincha
Seudah Shlishit (Shabbat’s third meal) often has additional inspiring
scholarships from Rabbi Moshe Scheiner or a guest speaker. On dates to be
announced, enjoy the insightful and original lectures of Mr. Paul Shaviv.
The Talmud teaches that the unique spiritual dimensions of this meal
assure that one who fulfills his obligation to eat this third meal merits
favorable judgment in the world to come. We conclude with Ma’ariv and
Havdalah services.
