Church Christmas cards...
last day Sunday 21st December
st
Today, Sunday 21 December, is the last day on which
Christmas cards for members of the congregation may
be left in church. We would ask that:
-
You only put cards in the box for those whom
you expect to be in church over the Christmas
period.
-
Envelopes are clearly marked with both the
Christian and surname of the recipient.
-
You take out any cards which are addressed to
you.
Any cards remaining in church after Christmas may not
be delivered.
Children’s Society Christmas candles
Please pick up from church a cardboard Christmas
candle, use it to collect your loose change and bring it
back to church at Christmas. The money so collected
will be donated to The Children’s Society
Free mini-bus outings
The next free mini-bus outing will be on
th
Friday 9 January. Please contact the
Parish Office if you would like to reserve a place.
Parish Prayer Chain
If you have an urgent request for prayer please
leave a message and you, or the person about
whom you are concerned, will be prayed for daily
for three weeks by the people who constitute the
Parish Prayer Chain.
We remember those who are sick or in distress, and
those who care for them, especially:
fr Stuart Aitken, Reanne Armstrong, Lynn and
Martin Bament, Ian and Jean Burden, Jillian Gallagher,
David Hinks, Ron Plowman, Ailsa Stone, Michelle
Thompson, Lesley and Primrose. Also Sam, Denis and
baby Gabriel.
….and all those who have died, their families and
friends, especially:
Barry Biddiss, Gary Biddiss, Averil Gower,
Audrey Myers, Joyce Prescott and Nigel Wilder.
May they rest in peace and rise in glory
