Meet Our New Excel Beyond the Bell Assistant
(December 17, 2014)—Hi! My name is Chase Hicks and I am
the new Assistant at Excel Beyond the Bell. I was born and
raised in Montgomery County and graduated from Winston
Churchill High School in 2009. Recently, I graduated from
Williams College with a Bachelors of Arts in History and a
concentration in Africana Studies. I was also a member of
the varsity basketball team and director of public relations
for the Williams College Law Society.
I am hoping to help increase the influence and capabilities
of Excel Beyond the Bell within the county, as well as
maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the program.
Interests include Sports, Music, Legal issues, and Computer

Student Showcase. Our youth were busy
teaching adult visitors, like me, how to create
a circuit, solder, and cut intricate foam shapes
during the last day of the EBB Session 1.
