VACANCY: SALES & TENDER COORDINATOR COMPANY: DFDS LOGISTIC PARTNERS LOCATION: NORFOLK HOUSE, IMMINGHAM A vacancy has arisen for a Sales and Tender Coordinator for DFDS Logistic Partners based The role is to compile tender sales pricing documentation for UK Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing price matrices across large amounts of sales data. Additional tasks within the sales department (including high level reporting) will be required along with supplying rates to customers on a daily basis, including specialised projects. PRINCIPAL ROLES: To know about costs and sales rate levels across all markets. Analyse and complete tender documents within constraints of client specification. Support Commercial Director with regular reports on status and success ratio of all rate offers and general sales performance. GENERAL RESPONSBILITIES: Work within the sales team, focussing on tender sales. Liaise with central tender sales department at head office to meet all deadlines. Develop further analysis of sales performance where necessary to meet new requirements. Assist with development and maintenance of sales quoting tools to contribute towards offering a competitive but financially viable service. Assist with day to day spot pricing – including special projects Manage and follow up on rate quotations Ownership of bids & tender submissions Maintenance of tender calendar ensuring planning for tenders and bids is at a high level including pre bid / tender documents (fact sheets) Hours of work will be 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 hours.
