o Teachers/mentors of entrepreneurship clubs (advanced entrepreneurship & mentoring)
o Students leading entrepreneurship clubs (entrepreneurship & leadership)
o Student members of the most competitive clubs (business development.)

In the perspective of building the capacity of entrepreneurship teachers, School
Entrepreneurship Network (SEN Rwanda) in partnership with the Rwanda Business
Development Center (BDC Rwanda) in Kigali, and the Regent University Center for
Entrepreneurship (RCE) in Virginia, US; have embarked on a project of training and
equipping Rwandan entrepreneurship teachers with business and entrepreneurship skills.
Through a project concept made by SEN Rwanda and shared to Dr. John Mulford, the
Director of Regent Center for Entrepreneurship in July 2013. The project of training of
entrepreneurship teachers from schools working with SEN Rwanda was agreed upon in
August, and a special intensive BDC cohort was scheduled for 10 days from December 3rd to
December 14th, 2013.
In September 2013, SEN Rwanda sent invitation letters to high schools across Rwanda to
choose one (1) entrepreneurship teacher for the training opportunity in December. Of the 30
invited teachers, 17 were expected to come from schools with entrepreneurship clubs, 8 were
