MISSION STATEMENT
“The Mission of St. Casimir’s Roman Catholic Parish
is to nurture our Christ-centered prayer community steeped in
love in the spirit of selfless service to God and neighbor, ever
mindful of our roots under the protection of Our Lady of Czestochowa, in recognizing the Eucharist as the source and summit of
our Christian life.” Parish Membership:
Every family and single adult to be considered an active
member of St. Casimir’s Parish must be properly registered in the parish, receiving and regularly using the parish
weekly donation envelopes. Only in this way can the parish issue documents attesting to parish membership and
Catholic practice, e.g. a letter to be a Godparent or Sponsor.
New parishioners are requested to visit the parish office.

especially our daily Mass attendees, that continuing through
SEPTEMBER 19, 2014 our 7:00 A.M. MASS HAS BEEN
ELIMINATED FROM OUR WEEKDAY SUMMER MASS
SCHEDULE. Weekdays, (Monday through Saturday),
ONLY an 8: A.M. Mass will be celebrated.
Our weekday 7:00 A.M. MASS WILL RESUME ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2014.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confessions in English and Polish) will be available every Saturday from 4:00 P.M.
to 4:45 P.M. through September 20th, 2014.

We earnestly ask for your willingness and generosity in
making-up your parishioner Church envelopes during the
period of time you may be absent from YOUR PARISH - the
Church of St. Casimir, this Summer, and, if feasible, PLEASE
try to make an increase in your weekly contribution in whatever amount you may feel most comfortable. Your cooperation is of the utmost importance.
This Fall, the Archdiocese of New York has mandated that
parishes undertake a rigorous Offertory Collection Campaign to raise long-term, increased, sustainable Offertory
Collections in order to bolster parish financial stability and
offset parish financial shortfalls. We will keep our faithful
abreast of further details concerning this Offertory Collection Campaign in subsequent Bulletins.
However, we are most appreciative for all the blessings of
support you offer our wonderful Parish. May God abundantly Bless your for your very thoughtful cooperation and
great kindness.

are seeking volunteers who would like to offer their time
to assist during our FLEA MARKET, whether it be helping with the set-up; during or with the clean-up; your assistance would be most gratefully appreciated. As you
know, this year’s FLEA MARKET is scheduled for TWO
FULL WEEKENDS! Therefore, the more volunteers we
have the lighter the work will be - “more hands- the easier the task.” Please donate some time for the benefit of
our beloved Church - it will truly prove to be a fantastic,

DWUDZIESTA NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA
Czy oddając Bogu swe życie do kształtowania sprawię, że
nagle znikną moje obowiązki? Czy będę miał więcej czasu?
Czy ustąpią w jednej chwili wszelkie choroby i problemy?
Zapewne, nie! Ale otworzą się moje oczy i uszy, otworzy
się moje serce i zobaczę, że nie jestem ślepo poddany
okolicznościom życia, nie jestem niewolnikiem popędów
ciała i wydarzeń wokół mnie. Zdam sobie sprawę, że Bóg
ofiarował mi już wystarczającą ilość łaski i możliwości, bym
swe życie przeżywał pracując nad sobą, nad swoimi myślami
i uczuciami; bym pielęgnując miłość i zdrowe relacje z
braćmi i siostrami stawał się człowiekiem świadomym swojej
wartości, a ciesząc się z każdego spełnionego postanowienia,
widział, że nie jest to moje własne zwycięstwo, ale radował
się, że jestem, tak jak kobieta kananejska i jej córka,
kochany przez Boga i on chce kształtować moje życie.

HEALING RETREAT WEEKEND - The Beginnning Experience of the Hudson Valley (a peer ministry of widowed, divorced and separated men and women “who have
been there” and offer their support) is offering a HEALING WEEKEND RETREAT (October 3rd to October 5th,
