I tossed the bag near all the other stuff out there and made a hasty retreat. This ATV gets up to 35mph, which isn’t really advisable on these dirt roads, but if you need it it’s there. So on my way back I circled around the runway and found a little drive down to the water at the bend of the road. No one there but just some beached boats. Got out my pole and first tried a lure called a ‘Pixie’, a lure most used. No luck. Well, I looked in the box and found a ‘Mepps’. Now a smaller version of this worked when I was in Homer AK, so I tried that. A few throws and I got one. Now, I was told that when fishing for food in these villages, you don’t need a license. I was ‘told’ this, but I didn’t know for sure. Well, wouldn’t you know, as I was reeling it in, a car passing by sees me and pulls in….. To read more on this story from Fr. September 21, 2014 Page 3 San Antonio Catholic Church PARISH NEWS SPIRITUAL ADOPTION Spiritual adoption is the opportunity for families to pray for an unknown baby whose mother might be contemplating having an abortion. Each family can choose a boy or girl, and name this baby. During the next 9 months the families will pray for their “adopted” baby daily. In June, 2015, there will be a Baby Shower at which time gifts can be donated to the Life Ministry for distribution to Life Centers here in Orange County. We look forward to seeing all of you at our sign-up table this weekend. EUCHARIST TO THE HOME BOUND In Mark 2:1-12 the community brought the paralytic to Jesus.
