Course Description
Football (Prep-Grade 2)
Through FUN games and activities students
will develop their agility, balance and coordination (ABC’s) whilst having a great
time! Fundamental skills and techniques of
the game taught in a friendly atmosphere.
Football (Grade 3-8)
For those players who have ambitions to
play competitive football in the future, but
are not quite ready yet. The ages of 8-11
are the ‘skill hungry’ or ‘golden years’ of
skill development (and appropriate and
challenging coaching).

Course Description
Junior Beginners (4 - 6 years of age)
Senior Beginners (7 years and older)
Students are given a chance to explore their physical
potential through basic gymnastics. Great to develop
motor skill at young age like 4-6 in a fun way that
helps develop motor skills.
NDP Level 1 - 2 (Open Age Group)
This class is aimed at students who already have
a gymnastics background and who are interested
in participating in floor, beam, bars and vault for
competitions based on the Australian Gymnastics
National Development Programme (NDP).
NDP Level 3 - 5 (Open Age Group)
This is an advanced class for gymnasts who are
both physically and mentally prepared for gymnastic
challenges. Advanced skills including somersault and
back handspring will be taught. Students attending this
class are required to be diligent and committed to the
sport of gymnastics.

in an envelope. Completed applications may be delivered to the 9/F School Office attention to “The Activities
Department” or post to “Activities Department c/o The Canadian International School of Hong Kong, 36 Nam
Long Shan Road, Aberdeen”. We ask parents to write your child’s name and student number on the reverse
side of the cheque.

set out by the School. I will not hold CDNIS responsible for any injury to my child(ren) or damages or loss to
my property as a result of participation in these courses.

CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT
• Payment is non-refundable. No credit will be issued for lessons
missed. No confirmation will be sent to you. The office will only
contact parents if there is a problem with the application.
CANCELLATION
• If a CDNIS activity is cancelled due to teacher illness or school
closure (except where closure is due to inclement weather) parents
will receive an SMS message informing them and a credit will be
issued in such cases. No refund or credit will be issued for students
absent from a CDNIS activity for whatever reason.
Make up lesson
• No make up lessons are available.
Administration Charge
• If a parent makes a request to change, and or cancel a child’s
ASA schedule after the commencement of the session, then an
administration charge of $1000 will be levied to their school account
for each individual change and or cancellation.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If the LIGHTNING, THUNDERSTORM, AMBER or RED storm warning or
Typhoon Signal #1 or #3 is in force then CDNIS activities will continue
as normal.
• If the BLACK storm warning or Typhoon Signal #8 is in force on or
after 7:00am then CDNIS activities will be cancelled for the entire
day.
• If the BLACK storm warning is issued during the school day then
students will remain in school under supervision until the warning is
lowered. Parents will be notified by SMS of the arrangement.
• If the raising of Typhoon Signal #8 is imminent then school will
finish and students will leave the school by bus or private transport.
Parents will be notified by SMS of the travel arrangements.
No refund or credit will be issued for cancelled lessons due to inclement
weather.
MEDICAL
In the case of a medical emergency your child will be transported to
the nearest public hospital (Queen Mary) by ambulance. In such cases
parents will be notified. We remind students not to share food with others
due to unknown food allergies.
