We hope this time will bring you closer to Christ as your kids are also growing in Him. CYP (Children, Youth, and Parents) Wednesday night program begins for the school year on September 10, 2014. Children will have a blast with a fun-filled hour designed just for them! While reinforcing the "Virtue of the Month," kids will enjoy worship, Bible story teaching, group games, take-home devotionals and more in our child- friendly Fellowship Hall. Youth can expect fun times and dynamic Bible teaching which is the foundation of the Ardmore FUMC Youth Department. Their time together will include games, worship, Bible teaching and the creation of long-lasting friendships. Parents, bring your pen, notebook and Bible to dive in deep with our parenting classes. These classes are designed for all parents; older and younger, married and single, members and nonmembers. Our goal is to provide you with some Come in September to hear all about Raising Truly Great Kids. Raising children who become truly great adults may be the goal of a parent, but there are factors and forces that make it difficult. Come learn that parents who commit to developing their relationship with their kids according to the power of God's grace automatically bring the best out of every family member. When you sow the seeds of grace, you reap a harvest of greatness. The average age of victims trafficked into prostitution is between 12 and 14 years. Every year 300,000 U.S. teens become victims of sex trafficking. Four out of five victims are female. The average life expectancy of these victims is 7 years. Homicide and AIDS are the number one killers of those being trafficked.
