Quality Progress Takes Notice of NC State’s Student Section of ASQ In the April issue of Quality Progress, the newly approved Student Section of ASQ at North Carolina State University was highlighted. The notice was from the “Shortruns” article on page 14. Student sections of ASQ promote students to develop a network of quality professionals to help them get a head start in their careers. It also enables the students to develop leadership skills by working with the local section members. ASQ Raleigh Section 1113 is proud to sponsor the NC State Student Section. The approval of the student section further demonstrates that the Raleigh area is committed to Quality. FYI: Less than two years ago there were only approximately 25 student sections in ASQ across the nation. California and Texas had the most at 6 and 4 respectively.
