DESCRIPTION:




















Management of one or more large scale, high client priority, Lean Six Sigma (LSS)
projects.
Educate, advise, and guide existing Black Belts at client sites to achieve the best possible
implementation of LSS and business outcomes.
Serve as technical expert on LSS in support of client leadership.
Understand and practice Change Management; guide client through the corporate culture
change necessary to effectively adopt LSS as a management tool.
Assist clients in setting strategy for Six Sigma implementation.
Coach/consult executive management in creating proper infrastructure for successful
deployment and support.
Guide Champions with project selection and scope, assuring linkage between projects
and business and customer priorities.
Mentor and coach Champions, Black Belts and Green Belts in the use of Six Sigma tools
and methodology to ensure timely completion of projects with expected client results.
Develop Multilevel Reports, related implications and Standard Operating Procedures.
Conduct multilevel facilitation exercises leading to target action steps and deliverables.
Conduct analysis of complex systems using the LSS toolbox and related IEOR methods.
Construct Macro and Micro level models using BPMN tools and standards.
Develop and manage project schedules that integrate with enterprise transformation
milestones.
Development of the Action Plan, to include development and documentation of all
supporting materials
Development of the Communication Plan, to include internal and external
communication processes, milestones, and risk management.
Development of supporting communication plans for the systems integrator, the field,
and design as well as reference documents.
Risk Register Development.
Analysis Methodology Development.
Schedule Methodology Development.
Comparative analysis of pre-post change metrics to measure success of initiatives.
LOCATION:
This full-time position is located in Reston, VA with some travel into Washington D.C.
REQUIREMENTS:







Bachelor’s degree (Graduate degree preferred, but not required)
5+ years of Six Sigma experience to include; operations management, IT applications,
and project management.
Black Belt Certification.
Demonstrated mastery and application of Lean Six Sigma.
Advanced communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to obtain a positive DHS Suitability Background Check
