Sales Executives – Scandinavia Emu Europe
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the global footwear business EMU Australia.
Since launching in 1994 in Australia, Emu has grown to become a leader in sheepskin footwear making the
world’s finest premium sheepskin products with a wide range of styles and colours available.
Due to their continued expansion they are now seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Danish, Swedish and
Finnish territories.
This is a hand’s on role working closely with key independent retailers in your area.
A main focus will be the development of the footwear business in both existing and new retailers. You will
work closely with all of your accounts to create successful ranges within each retailer and increase the brands
exposure. As well as managing the retailers needs you will manage promotions within store, visual
merchandising and staff training all in order to increase turnover within your accounts. As the demand grows
for the products, you will manage the accounts expectations, ensuring a successful relationship is maintained.
You will also be responsible for journey and call planning, ensuring you divide your time appropriately
between priority accounts. You will report into the European Sales Manager keeping him up to date on the
development of the areas and working together to build the brands presence.
Most importantly, you will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be able to operate autonomously and deliver strong
sales results. You should want to work for a progressive company which is constantly developing and looking

Qualities







Energy, drive and passion to succeed.
Strong sales experience
Experience in wholesale or retail fashion industry
Knowledge of building brands through establishing correct store distribution
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Strong time management and organisational skills
Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail
Key Requirements


Customer visits every day including extensive travel. You may be away overnight several nights per
week during peak selling periods
Cold calling or prospecting new customers.
Support
You will be given the training, tools and support to perform your role. Your attitude will be what enables you
to over achieve in this environment.
