Sub: Tenders for the supply of material to Assistant Material Manager, EMU Car Shed,Ghaziabad, Northern Railways Opening
on 29 -04- 2014 at 14:00 Hrs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tenders are invited from firms registered with depot, COS Northern Railways, other Railways,RDSO,NSIC,DLW,CLW,ICF,RCF and
Rly.Bd. for the supply of following items. You are requested to submit your offer on Railway tender form or on your letter head
against each tender separately.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:Rate will be quoted in figure as well as in words
FOR destination will be preferred.
Ex-Stock or early DP will be preferred.
Offer should be to the specification / Drg.No. Brand Name of the item to which offer is made & should be indicated clearly.
Sample & Drg. to be seen in this office
Vendor must quote MRP along with quoted rates with their offer whenever the MRP is printed on the packages.
Identification mark punching, Embossing of manufacturing as well as date, month, Year, should be mention on the
manufacturing material.
Offer with Advance payment terms will not be accepted & Payment will be made after receipt and acceptance of material.
If you do not want to quote, regret letter must be sent or faxed.
Quotation for each item is required separately.
Other terms and condition as per IRS condition of contract.
Firm should quote validity of at least 60 days in their offer.
Special Condition of Contract :Tenderers must clearly indicate the exact rate/ amount of Sales Tax(VAT) claimed by them, as may be applicable. They should
also indicate the section of Value Added Tax Act as applicable based on which such a rate of VAT has been quoted.
The rate/amount of Sales Tax even when included in the rate quoted by a Tenderer must be spelt out separately. Where the
rate/amount of Sales Tax/ VAT included in the rate is Nil, this should be specifically stated.
If, any ambiguity is left by the Tenderer in the matter of clearly indicating the chargeable S.T/VAT, the purchaser shall evaluate
the offers by taking into account the highest rate S.T/VAT as known to the purchaser as applicable for determining the inter-se
ranking of the offers. The purchaser's decision in this regard will be final and no claim regarding applicability of S.T/VAT or
otherwise will be entertained after opening of the Tender. The purchasers will however, still reserve the right not to pay any
S.T/VAT not specifically claimed / indicated clearly or unambiguously by the tenderers.
Firm should quote their registered TIN No VAT/CST else their offer shall be rejected
