Each bungalow has two bedrooms and can provide single person or shared supported living. A new opportunity exists for a person to share one of these bungalows, provisionally with a 57 year old man although this may change. The bungalow includes ramped access and a walk-in shower and is suitable for a wheelchair user. A nice small community There are three bungalows at Elm Court, each for two people who have their own bedroom and the shared use of a living room, kitchen and bathroom. Each bungalow has its own enclosed private garden and the bungalows are built around an enclosed courtyard which is used for parking by those service users who have elected to take their mobility allowance in the form of a vehicle for their exclusive use. The vacant bungalow is currently shared with a 57 year old man who has lived at Elm Court since May 2007, although this situation may change and we would welcome enquiries on behalf of individuals and pairs. If you choose to come and live here you will be issued with an assured shorthold tenancy at a rent level which is within housing benefit limits. Support is normally funded by your adult social services team. Our South Bedfordshire team supports a wide range of service users, including people with complex needs who we have enabled to form active social lives individually and in friendship groups.
