RE: CRN for Intermixed Fittings in Ontario - Attached Letter from TSSA
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Parker Canada has recently been given a CRN for specific Parker A-lok and CPI fittings and components
intermixed with Swagelok components. The list of fittings is attached. The CRN for the intermixed fittings is
0A9154.5.
Additionally the TSSA has registered under our existing CRN for A-lok and CPI that we have a CRN for specific
Parker/Swagelok inter-mixed fittings and Parker states that it is acceptable to utilize Swagelok components as
replacement parts for our A-lok and CPI product.
To obtain a CRN the product must be designed and manufactured to a recognized specification or must satisfy
to the authority, in this case the TSSA, that the design is proven. We tested a sampling of our product
offering (attached) and for that sampling we were able to supply proof of design that enabled Parker to obtain
a CRN. We are confident that performing the same tests on other fittings of different size, shapes and material
would provide the same positive results that were supplied to the TSSA to obtain the CRN for the sample list
of fittings.
