Pinto Cup - To a Year 12 or 13 student who celebrates diversity by
being inclusive of all cultures. Exhibits sensitivity to issue of Social
justice and displays the skills of advocacy. Mrs Philomena Pinto
worked as a Guidance Counsellor at Baradene college from 1989.
She loved the students and felt it a privilege to be the person they
trusted with the challenges they faced in life. Mrs Pinto was originally
from India, has a love for New Zealand and India

Becky Sorenson Memorial Cup - Becky Sorenson was a student at Georgia Osmond
Baradene during the 1990’s who died tragically at the age of 23. This
cup, donated by her family, is for a student in the school community
who shows maturity of thought, a warm sense of fun and generosity of
spirit (the cup can be awarded at any level).

Dedicatio Diligentiaque Trophy - The trophy is awarded to a Year
13 student who, in the view of the Student Executive, has worked
consistently and diligently in her studies but has also participated fully
in sporting and cultural activities within the school. The year 13
students supported the Executive in many ways but this young lady
has gone beyond expectations by organizing many events for the
Young Vinnie's events and contributed hugely to organization of La
Fete. She has also supported the exec in many cultural, social and
performing arts events.
